Despite being a California girl through and through, my favorite season has always been fall. For us Angelenos, fall is more like a mild summer; outside of a 10 degree temperature drop and a slight breeze, not much changes.

The heat can be oppressive in July and August and occasionally, you might find it stifling your options for clothing. Often, in such dense heat, I cannot be bothered to be creative and simply throw on the first items that I happen to touch while rifling through my closet (more and more often, I find myself reaching for my mesh Dimepiece dress, which by itself leaves little to the imagination, but has proven over time to be the perfect lightweight article of clothing).

My advice for you frustrated fashionistas would be to save your adorable Jeffrey Campbell platform wedges and pair it with our sassy La Mode crop top over a hip-hugging mini after the sun goes down. That slight shift in weather will allow you to break out your warmer clothing and make odd, but fun wardrobe pairings such as cut-off shorts with sheer tights and our ironically appropriate ‘Satan is Waiting’ crop top finished off with a pair of ass-kicking military style boots. Summer nights have been reminiscent of autumn lately and your local bar or restaurant could be the perfect place to debut your personal fall collection. You might find yourself pleasantly surprised at the warm reception you receive.
