Monday, January 11th, 2010M.I.S.S., has teamed up with Upper Playground to curate its first ever art show at FIFTY24LA Gallery. In keeping with our love of fashion and art, we are very excited to present “Paper Dolls” – a group show displaying new works by artists and their interpretation of the paper doll.
”Paper Dolls” features new works on display at FIFTY24LA Gallery from January 14, 2010 through March 3, 2010.

1. Our Fall/Winter 2009 campaign with Cassie. It was so good to see our ideas and designs come to life in this look book and have Cassie as the messenger.
2. We did the window at Joyrich on Melrose. The theme was taken from our Summer line, “Plastic City”…hence the Barbies galore. We striped them, shaved each head and painted every single one! (and yes, that IS what interns are for…but it’s fun to get dirty once in a while).
3. We styled and art directed the cover for Acclaim Magazine, a fashion/art magazine from Australia. Our first cover 
4. Our Spring/Summer 2009 lookbook. People went cray cray over the coattail vest!

Joyrich & DimePiece “Take it off” party, the models are previewing our Spring 2010 prototypes. That party was a freakfest, we had so much fun.

Monday, December 28th, 2009Here’s a shitty phone picture of Ashley and I in the wonderful world of the fabric district, downtown L.A. We put of a lot of hard work and love into our cut and sew garments so it takes a moment for us to pick the perfect fabric to match our personal taste. Happy Monday!
Friday’s musical surprises.
Monday, December 14th, 2009We love visitors at the DimePiece office, it’s right in the heart of the garment/fabric district downtown L.A. So usually we get text messages saying:
Alycia: Hey we’re 15 minutes away and we’re coming to visit you guys!
DMPC: Ok awesome! (Rushing to clean the office and spray a little perfume so it doesn’t smell like lunch.)
We had songbirds Teyana Taylor and Alycia Bella roll by the office. Once they came in they raided our newest Fall 09′ collection – They especially loved the “Ain’t No Wifey” thermals.

Tuesday, December 1st, 2009We had a lovely visit today from Alycia Bella from Daddy’s Girls on MTV and the primo celeb stylist Mr. Anthony Bradshaw. They borrowed a few pieces from our brand new spring 2010 line. Ooowee (Peep those shades, your gonna stab my eye out!)
